Starting the week off strong with a successful 3D Printed Stainless Steel 17-4PH sinter furnace run over the weekend, these parts came out great!
Fun little project reverse engineering an existing part, originally injection moulded in clear polystyrene, meaning the part was brittle, weak and kept breaking on the customer. We reverse engineered the part in Autodesk Inventor, first printed the model in black PA6-CF (Onyx) for model validation fitment, then moved onto the stainless steel. We're sure the customer will be happy with the result and tolerances. Comments are closed.
